Does anybody out there know how to install the tool bar
for office 2003 or where you acn download it. I can't
beleive that Microsoft would remove something as simple as
the tool bar. In the office it was a widely used tool.

To create a Shortcut Tool Bar For Office 2003. Create a folder with
shortcuts for all office programs. Right Click On the Task Bar select
Toolbars > New Toolbar and Navigate to the folder containing your Office
shortcuts and select it, click OK.

Perfect Menu is a good alternative

It adds functionality to Right Click Menu's. You can create replacement
menus or add on menus to add additional commands to Right Click Menus. You
can add application shortcuts. Use it to create key sequence commands to
save files to a default location. It stays hidden until you Right Click

You will have to install it from Office 2000 or XP, they had an attack
of industrial strength stupidity and deleted it from Office 2003, so it
doesn't exist. The bad part is while you can do this (install it from
Office 2000 or XP) and it works, as far as Windows and Microsoft are
concerned, it's a full-blow installation of the older version of Office,
even if you deselect everything other than the shortcut bar. It takes
up 37 megabytes or so and it causes problems using Office Update.

With the many requests that (%wise) you have suggested
I would (if Microsoft), write code for/package/sell an Office 2003 tool bar for all those that do not want to either
1. create their ow
2. add i
3. get over it (its not there
This is just an observation from someone that owns a business and sees an opportunity. Someone somewhere will eventually write one for you that you can purchase.
