Office 2003 vs. XP

I feel like this is a silly question, but I have Microsoft Office XP. I just
signed up for an Office Technoligies course and the book is Office 2003,
Brief Concepts & Techniques. I will be learning Access, Word, Powerpoint,
Excel. Should I be able to do everything I need to do with my XP or will I
need to purchase 2003?

You will always need the version being taught as there are differences in each of the suites between versions.

I don't know about the other programs, but there's very little difference
between PowerPoint 2002 (which is also known as PowerPoint XP) and
PowerPoint 2003.
