I upgraded office xp to 2003
outlook works fine
unable to open files in word or excell
in word I get the msg: file unabailable
plus, when closing the application Im being asked if I want to save the "normal" file. I did delete the normal.dot file but it keeps returning. I also made the proper change in the preferences box about not being prompt to save the normanl file
in excell I get the msg: antivirus software is blocking the file
I tried removing the antivirus prg (AVG 6.0 by Grisoft)-did not help
tried reinstalling office - nad
tried all versions of opening files-nada
