Hi all,
We are doing a phased rollout of Office 2007, upgrading from Office 2003. At
least one user has reported that when receiving email attachments in *.XLSX
(i.e. Excel 2007) format, they are unable to open the file as the 'open file
with' dialog box comes up. This is even though both the sending and receiving
user have Office 2007 installed! This also appears to be a problem when
browsing network-based *.XLSX files - Excel does not recognise them as valid
Excel files! Trying to force a file association does not help as Excel 2007
does not appear as an option to open with.
All our users are running XP SP2 machines.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer ........
