Office 2007 - HELP - image problems

Sarah

I have used Word for many years and love it - not too thrilled with the
changes in Office 2007, but my bigger issue is with Publisher 2007.
I have an image that I have used in Word just fine - meaning, the on screen
colors are correct and when printed the colors are correct.
Someone sent me a Publisher file and asked me to add the image - I did this
- now the image is messed up - the colors are correct on screen, but when
printed FROM MY computer the image colors are all wrong - but if I transport
the file to a different computer it prints fine

I have reinstalled Office - no good

Any ideas???

What kind of image? What is the format? Did the Publisher file you were sent
have a color scheme?

sorry - good questions - the image was a JPeg - the publisher file was basic
as far as I could tell - I don't know too much about publisher - I did
discover the image file was changed somehow becuase when I happen to open it
in Adobe Element I got a warning that the color index was not supported and
asked if i wanted to change it - I did and the image seems to be printing
correctly now, but I still don't know how it happened to keep it from
happening in the future...
