Office 2007 re-install

In an attempt to clean up my system I deleted most of my .tmp files. Office
2007 tried to reinstall itself. I only get an error message that says "An
error has occurred." Not much help in trying to fix the problem

Can anyone offer any help? I'm getting desperate.
