Office 2K for Multiple Users

When I install Office 2K on a PC as an administrator, when
the new user opens an Office program, it wants to run
Setup again and requires the CD-ROMs. I plan to do this
on a PC which has multiple users. Any recommendations
other than running Setup from a network share?

Hi, Bill,

Are you installing it as the "administrator" account, or as a user with
administrative privileges? Are you installing everything to run from the
hard drive?

P. S. Setup from a network share or from the local hard drive isn't a bad
idea, because then the source files are always available when needed for
patching, etc.
