Office 97 installing on windows XP

I had to replace my hard drive. I operate under a windows
XP upgrade of Windows ME. I had installed Office 97 on my
previous drive and it worked perfectly. Now when I
attempt to install it I get a message that it cannot load
a number of 32DLL files and the installation has to be
aborted. Any suggestions?
