I can open the programs within Office 97,(IE: Word &
Excel.)
When I type a message in word and then attempt to print,
I receive this message:
"Microsoft Word for Windows 97 Application file has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry
for the inconvenience." When I view view the error
report :
"Error Signature
AppName:winword.exe AppVer8.0.04412ModName:winword.exe
Modver8.0.04412 Offset0002611f." File with report
C:\DOCUME~\Linda\locals~\temp\WER38B.tmp.diroo\Appcompat.t
xt
When I attempt to open an excel document from CD disk
excel opens but the screen is black. I have not created
an excel document with XP due to problems. I purchased a
new computer with XP installed. I originally installed
Office 97 on my old computer running Windows 98
