OFFICE apps can not be edited

I have just installed an office2003 and works fine for a
few days. It suddenly not allow me to edit (word / exce /
outlook) also some functions are dim (e.g. OPTIONS etc).

What can I do?

Did you activate Office 2003?

I did of course. Just it can open old docs but cannot do
any editing. I read the technet. it said it is related to
textbridge OCR. However, i un-instlalled it already, the
situation is still not improved.

Ok, have you tried Help, Detect and Repair in any Office application?
May be a long shot, your OCR program may have corrupted the activation
information. Try Help, Activate Product. If activation information is
correct, you will get an already activated message.
