Office Assistant

I transferred Office 97 from a Windows 98 computer to a Windows XP computer
using the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard. I simply transferred the
contents of the Microsoft Office Folder and the Common Files Folder.
Everything worked perfectly except that the Office Assistant disappeared.
Obviously the files for the Office Assistant were not transferred. Can
anyone tell me what folder they are located in or, better still, what are
the names of the files. Thank you.

I have the same problem! Except I used Customized Setup from my Office 97 CD. The Office Assistant box is checked, but I don't have it available. I went to Microsoft Help On-line and downloaded a new character; it isn't there, either. I hope someone can help us!
