We have done a test install using a mst file to configure the exchange server
name and %UserName% to automatically setup the users email.WE are pusing this
through SMS. The problem we are having is when the user open Outlook the
first time they get an error that they don't have permission to make
registery changes. We temporarly give them local admin permissions to run
Outlook the first time. After it is run the first time and the permissions
are changed back every thing works fine. Does anyone know why the user needs
admin rights to run Outlook the first time and is there a way for this to be
setup so we donn't have to go through the resetting permissions for all the
users. We are running Exchange 2003 and installing Office 2003.
