Office from backup

I recently had a disk crash and had Win XP restored. I cannot find my
Office 2000 disk but I have a complete backup of my system before the disk
crash on another disk on my home network. I tried opening Word from the
backup disk and got an error message saying that I needed to run setup.

Is there a way that I can use the Office programs on my backup?

In order to restore applications such as MS Office, you have to do a full
system restore from the full system backup set.
