Office Help

Ever since I upgraded to MS XP, the help for my MS Office 2000 application
takes a while to come up. Iclick on the "?" icon on the worksheet menu
toolbar and get the wizard. I type in my question. and click on "Search".
Then my disk light go on as if something is being built.

Just an annoyance.

The hdd activity shall mean that the help index is being built, and because
that it does it everytime, I might say that it is because, the index files,
..GID, etc files cannot be saved to the directory. (Mostly the Office app
dir). Do you have write access to that dir?

I changed the access rights to the Office Directories and the delay decreased
signiicantly.
