office not working when switching user

Kyrish

Hi,

I have a second user account for Windows, and when the second user account
(my sister) tries to print something from Microsoft word, it first (upon
loading) says "looking to install, ready to install" and then prompts with an
error. Word then opens up, she types what she needs to, and when she tries
to print, a pop-up for "save as: Microsoft document imaging format (.mdi)"

This is weird, because if i switch back to my main account, i can print
normally.
please help!
Thanks,

Kyrish

Perhaps she hasn't set a default printer yet.

Go to Start, Printers & Faxes
From the list right-click on the printer your sister wants to print on.
The second item from yet another list is an option to set this as her
default. Select this and then OK it.

The other way to select the correct printer is to print from the File
Menu (not from the print icon on the tool bars). However, this does not
set the default printer.
