Office OutLook 2002 requires 'Send All'button activation to receive mail

When I installed Office 2002 version with XP, I received a
message that I may have to copy 'old' OutLook folders
to 'new ' outlook folders.

Currently I am forced to hit the sendall/receive all button
(under tools) to empty my cable provider's mail box, to my
OutLook cache; this issue began with the Office
installation.

I importedInternet Mail Account Settings as instructed in
Article Q291602, and the issue remains...

You haven't said anything about what kind of mail accounts these are -- POP or IMAP. Please fill us in on exactly what the problem is.
