office professional 2000 to office standard 2003

I have office professional 2000 loaded on my laptop. Recently purchased
office standard 2003. Can I install over pro 2000 or do I need to uninstall
and then install standard 2003. My version of the standard 2003 is the
student teacher version.

Office 2000 Pro includes Publisher and Access, neither of which are in Office
2003 STE. If you install 2003 over 2000, Publisher and Access will remain
intact. If you uninstall 2000 before installing 2003, Publisher and Access
will be uninstalled too. Aside from this, either way should work okay.
