Office Professional 2003 - install

I attempt to install Office 2003 ....; after +- 2 minutes the installation
process "hangs" (no processor activity); no error messages.

OS = Windows XP PRO

Do you have any idea of what could be the cause of this ?

How long did you let the installation run? Did you turn off your AV
protection during the installation?
