Need computer to work

I purchased a new computer and cannot install Office 2000 standard or Office
2003 Pro. It's giving me an error about the dll. Do I need to buy a new disk?
I've used both of them on my old computer. Please help!

"An error about the dll" is too vague for us to do anything with.

What is the exact text of the error message?

What operating system are you using? Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows XP,
something else?
