Office shortcut bar no longer is visible

Somehow the Office shortcut bar on my daughter's computer (XP-Home / Office
XP) no longer is visible. Executing the program appears to do . .
..something, but the bar NEVER shows up.

How do we get it back? Any and all help will be gratefully appreciated.
