Office XP 2002

I purchased Office XP 2002 (Students edition) and was able to successfully install and activate on my desktop PC. But I am unable to activate the same when I install it on my laptop. Does it mean that I can activate it on only one of my PCs? What do I need to do to activate the same on my laptop as well? Will I have the same problem with Office XP 2003 also?

Office XP STE is a per-system licence. If you want to activate it on your
laptop, another licence is required. Office 2003 may be activated on up to
three systems in any combination.
