Office XP Activation

I have a copy of XP but left it at home when I went to
college, so I figured I could install my roomate's
version of XP Office and then put in my own product key.
I wasn't afforded that option and now he can't activate
his software becuase I'm activated on it. Is there any
way for me to switch onto MY product key without
uninstalling his software, going home, and getting mine?

Use the telephone method of activation and explain the situation to the
operator.

They should be able to help you activate.
