Sherrie said:You can install one copy of Student and Teacher on up to three
computers. Read it here on the FAQ's:

I installed and activitated mine on my desktop, my laptop and my
granddaughter's desktop.

policy. So, I can't load it on my desktop PC which my
student-son uses and his laptop computer? Thanks for the
gouging Microsoft!
Yes, that is still Microsoft's problem I believe. And, by the soundsEpona, what does reading the license agreement have to do with the fact that I am disgusted with Microsoft's policy of limiting a legitimately purchased program to just one of my own PCs? Maybe I was or maybe I wasn't aware of the policy when I orginally bought it and installed it on my son's first computer. The fact is, I still feel it is unreasonable that I cannot install it on his second computer now.
there's no such thing)Sherrie said:Jake, do you have the commercial or the personal Office for Student
and Teachers? One is called Office for Student and Teachers (no it isn't
is Office XP for Student and Teachers (I think). I didn't realize
there were two with a similar name. Mine is the version that allows
you to activate on 3 computers. If yours doesn't you might be able to
sell it and get the other version.

My answer:
Office XP for Students and Teachers can be installed on up to 3
computers. Looking at my booklet right now and it says Microsoft
OfficeXP for Students and Teachers. Unless he wrote the question
wrong, I did give him the correct answer and link.
He did not mention if he had 2002 or 2003 but since 2003 is the
current version that was the link I supplied.
Microsoft XP (the operating system) can only be installed on one
computer with activation but he asked about OfficeXP, dear!
