Office XP no longer there - urgent

Hello
I am currently travelling with my laptop. 2 days ago at
home Word, Excel, PPT and FP XP were all working fine.
Today I started the laptop and when I click on the program
icons I get the error message that I need the XP-Office CD
in order to run the application that I require. Does
anyone know why this would happen??? I do not have the CD
with me on the road, as you can imagine. Please help ..
