Office XP Pro & Vista

I just got a new computer with Vista and Office 2007 Trial. I want to load
my old Office XP Professional on to it. I am really only interested in
Excel, PowerPoint & maybe Word. Will those function properly? I understand
that Outlook will not so that is not a big deal to me. Also, can I install
only Excel, PP & Word and not Outlook since I don't need it? I need to
uninstall Office 2007 Trail first also?

If you copy of Office XP is a retail copy, you can install it on a new
computer and it will work fine. Yes, you can do a custom innstall of those
programs. Yes, you DO want to uninstall the trial software first.
