Office XP Professional - problems on reinstall

Had problems with the way Microsoft Office XP
Professional with Publisher was running on one of our
office computers, so I removed the program from the
computer and reinstalled it. This was a purchased
product and did not come with the computer. Note that we
have several Office CD's in the office. When I attempted
reinstall using the product keys off of the Certificate
of Authenticity I received a message that said that it
could not register the product. What am I doing wrong?
When I use the program, it says I have only a few more
uses left. Help!

Did you try registering it by the 800 number. I know when I had hard drive
problems and had to clean my hd a few times that I had to call them because
it only allow me to authorize it once, I think online.
There is an option when registering to do so by calling the 800 line.
