OL2000: Saving Sent Messages Settings

P

Paul Womar

I'm running Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000. As of about last week my
Outlook has taken to sending replies & forwarded copies of mails into my
Inbox, if I compose and send a new message then it saves in Sent Items
as you'd expect. If you click 'Options' prior to sending the message
then it will tell you exacly where it is going to save it and you can
correct it for an individual mail. In Email Options 'Save copies of
messages in sent items folder' is on, if I untick it then it unticks the
tickbox in the Options I mentioned before and then doesn't save the
messages anywhere. I haven't managed to track down any previous reports
of the issue on Usenet or in the MS KB so any pointers would be greatly
appreciated...
