ON Print Driver problem

I used ON for all of summer 2008 without any problems (so I don't think I
have a 64-bit operating system). Now, on the same computer less than 6
months later, the "Send to One Note" option is missing from the printer
list!!!

I have tried to install the option as a new printer-- the Send to One Note
port is still visible in the Add a New Printer menu, but the driver is
missing so I re-configured the driver based on some instructions I found on
one of these posts. It looked like it was about to work - I selected "Send
to One Note" and pressed "print", and the One Note program opened --- but
then a message popped up: "OneNote cannot find the file you specified."

Also, all the "Send to OneNote" buttons are missing from the Office
programs. And when I was trying to fix this problem, a message popped up
that said something like "The OneNote printer driver is missing. Run Office
Diagnostics." So I did, and it said there were no problems!

Oh and I ALSO did the repair MS Office thing where you go to "Start" and
"Run" and type "appwiz.cpl" then tell it to repair MS Office. That didn't
work, either.

I just keep getting "OneNote cannot find the file you specified." What is
going on?

I fixed it - indeed the printer name must be exactly: Send To OneNote 2007.
I thought I had typed it correctly but I had an extra space & that's why it
wasn't working.

Can't figure out how to delete my post so sorry for clogging up the board.

Thanks for the feedback!
Glad to hear that you could fix the problem which is one the most ugly
things with ON.

All the best
Rainald
