OneNote Printer Driver does not work

T

Thomas Heimann

I installed OneNote and am just now starting to use it.
I cannot print documents to one note, there is no printer driver
installed/one note not listed under printers, and the Insert/Files as
Printout option is greyed out.

Thank you so much!

In case you were running a 64-bit OS, there is no printer driver for
that.
On the reasons pls see: David Rasmussen: "OneNote 64 bit print driver"
http://blogs.msdn.com/david_rasmussen/archive/2008/04/21/onenote-64-bit-print-driver.aspx

There are workarounds:
Daniel Escapa: A workaround for no x64
http://blogs.msdn.com/descapa/archi...nd-for-no-x64-sendtoonenote-print-driver.aspx
Nils Kaiser: How to get back “How to get back “Send to OneNote†on Vista
x64"
http://blog.nils-kaiser.de/2008/06/20/how-to-get-back-send-to-onenote-on-vista-x64/

In case it's a 32-bit OS, pls come back and ask again on how to cure the
bug.

I have had ms office ultimate 2007 installed on my computer for over a year. A couple of days ago I had an office update that somehow removed the onenote printer from my list of printers. I have tried restoring to before the update; and adding a printer searching for the one note print driver all to no avail. If someone can help it would be greatly appreciated

As you might see from the chaos shown below, hardly anybody is able to
see what the problem might be.

Pls be so kind as to open a new thread and ask your question there.
