OneNote Outlook integration

Microsoft is really big with the integration of office programs. Outlook has
a notes feature, but really sucks. There should be some integration with
Outlook and OneNote to combine that. it would make it much easier. Also,
there needs to be support for pda's and phones. When I make notes on my pda,
it needs to be able to integrate with OneNote. Otherwise I have multiple
places for notes (my pda, Outlook, OneNote) and it basically renders the note
taking useless. Thanks.

Do you have OneNote SP1? There is plenty of integration between OneNote
and Outlook (although admittedly not as complete and bidirectional as some
would like). There is also a feature that will automatically copy notes
from your Pocket PC device into a dedicated section in OneNote. If you're
using ActiveSync for your PDA there should already be full synchronization
between your Outlook Notes and the Pocket PC notes.

I agree with jim decent integration with outlook and PDA is necessary. For
me if it would synch with outlook . I can easily transfer notes from outlook
back and forth from my PDA (PALM). This would make one note a killer app
for me, today it is just a depository of stuff.

If you live and die by your PDA I can see how you would say that, and I
hope better integration with Outlook and the Windows Mobile platform is
coming in future versions. I would disagree that OneNote is just a
depository though.
