On my computer I can go File/Open, find the approrpiate directory and even though the hourglass comes up (huge directory to bring up), I can still do down and enter the file name I want, hit enter and it will bring up the file I want without having to wait for the hourglass to finish. On another computer, they also get the hourglass while all the files are coming up but it won't let them type in a file name to speed up the process. What setting could we change on that computer so they too can bring up the file immediately without waiting for it to finish?
