Opening D drive documents

We got a new hard drive and we saved everything on D drive from the old drive.
I try to open the documents and it keep saying the file is not accessible, or has a password etc. etc.
I do not get it!
Please help me out!

Hi JB,

If you are using Norton AV then go to Norton Options and in the Miscellaneous section turn off "Enable Office Plug-in".
