opening documents written in other versions

I have publisher 2000 and have been sent a document in some other version

any ideas on how to open?

Hi Stephen,

Most likely the send has Publisher 2002 or 2003. Have them save the file as
a Publisher 2000 file. They just need to go to File > Save As > and change
the file type to Publisher 2000 file format.
