Opening files in MS Word XP

I was not able to find a file in Word XP by typing in part of the file name
in "Find File."

How can I do this without going to search? I was able to in Word 2000 and
earlier versions.

I use Word 2003. Maybe yours is similar. Choose File
Search... from the File drop down menu.
