Opening Files on a Home Network

N

Nancy

I have recently tried to open a PP file on the laptop in my home network
(used to open OK) but I'm getting a message that PP can't open the file
because part of it is missing. If I go to the other computer, the file opens
just fine. I trried saving it with a different name but get the same message
when tring to open it on the laptop.

Are you using PowerPoint 2003. If so, go to the Help menu and choose Check
for Updates to install service pack 1. Also, does the file open if you copy
it directly to your hard drive on your laptop, or do you still have a
problem?
