opening Publisher files

I can't open my saved Publisher files. I've had this
problem before and technical support guided me through
this, but I don't remember how. When I try to open a
previously saved Publisher file, a dialog box appears
that says, "Publisher cannot find the file you
specified. The next dialog box will let you browse to
locate the file on your hard drive or floppy disk." How
do I recover this file?

What version Publisher? Windows?

What happens when you double-click the file in Windows Explorer? Is the file on a
floppy or CD? If so drag it to your hard drive. Right-click the file, properties,
clear "read only" if it is checked.

I'm having the same problem. I'll check to see if my files are somehow being
made read-only. Thanks
