opening up a Word Document in from Explorer

When I try to open more than one Word doc from Windows Explorer, I get two
instances of Word, versus one instance with two windows. This has started to
happen after installing and uninstalling Office 2003. I'm guessing there is
a setting I need to change?

JK,

If you are using Windows XP, this happens. I haven't found a way to keep
it from happening yet.

That's strange, because I do have XP, but prior to installing Office 2003,
it worked fine. It was once I unstalled it is when it started happening.
