Opening Word with no blank page?

N

Nigel Molesworth

OK, now I've got my problems sorted out, another question.

Is there a way of opening Word with no blank page?

There used to be a switch you could put in the shortcut (/n I think)
but Word 2003 doesn't have a normal shortcut in the Windows sense.

Hi Nigel,

You can still create a 'normal' (Windows style) shortcut for Word to use in place of or addition to the MS Installer style ones (no
options dialog). Use Start=>Search to locate Winword.exe and then right click that file and create a shortcut and add the /n switch
to that shortcut.

Create one: "winword /n" is correct. See Help: Customize how Word starts
