Opinions Please

Hi, newbie here. Can I get some opinions on how happy you are with Font
Page 2003? How does it compare to just using MS Publisher? I have to do a
web page for work and we are thinking of getting Front Page.

Thanks for your help.

Go with FrontPage. Publisher will give you fits.

Thanks. I have been trying to post to the MS discussion groups, but can
only reply. When I hit new\question, nothing comes up.

I went to MS site to do the trial. Am playing with it. Originally I
started to learn HTML, but decided, while not overly hard to learn, was too
time consuming. Want something a little quicker and easier. Hope FP will
be the answer.

FrontPage is to the web as Publisher is to hardcopy

Word & Publisher can do web pages, but the html is very
bloated
Overlapping items = images = download time

I did our FD website using FP2000 and help from this
newsgroup. Never did a web page before.

go with FP over Publisher.

However, i get the impression that is may be a casual thing? If so, you
might consider hosting with someone that provides website templates "for
free" (angelfire.com, tripod.com, 1and1.com, etc)
