OTLK Forms- I must be missing something very basic here...

I'm missing something very basic here creating a new Outlook form
based on the Task message class. I'm in Outlook 2000 designing a new
form. On page 2, I want to select a contact from the Contacts folder.
Then, I want a second field COMPANY to automatically populate with
the chosen contacts company name. I've been through the Help file,
online searches, and an Outlook book and I think it's too simple to
even be an example. But no matter how I set up the Value and
Validation properties of the Company text box, I cannot get it to do
the lookup and auto-populate.

Can someone point me in the right direction? Obviously I'm new at
forms, so try to be kind.

Thanks.

What are you using to select the contact? If you add a contact to the Contacts box at the bottom of the first page (or the same controls added to a custom page), the Company field should populate automatically after the contact is resolved (turned into an underlined link). There is no need to for any formula.
