Outlook 2000 not loading

Hope someone can help!

I've just started having problems getting Outlook 2000 to start. I'm using
Office 2000 and Win ME. All other MS programs seem to work OK.

I've done a system scan and defrag and system has plenty memory etc.. Have
done a detect / repair of MS office

I have unread messages in my Inbox which I don't want to lose.

The Outlook 2000 splash screen comes up and then we just stop! Pressing
CTL+ALT+DEL confirms Outlook 2000 as running (But does NOT say) it is "not
responding"

Anyone got any suggestions?
