Outlook 2000 problem

I have one user, windows XP, outlook 200o that is having
the following problem...

When she gets new mail it does not automatically show in
her Inbox. She needs to eithe rstart a new mail message
or sort her emails before new messages come to her
machine. We are also using exchange server 2000.
