Outlook 2002

When i was trying to backup some files in Outlook 2002.
By dragging them out of outlook to a folder for backups.
The subjects in outlook turned into RECORD LOCATOR
L3V824. Does anyone know what this means and how would i
get the subjects back to the original state?

What kind of objects were you trying to backup? Were they mail items,
contacts, etc? Normally the name of the object in the file system gets
derived from somthing in the object (since they don't have filenames
normally when they're within Outlook's message store)
