I recently ended my use of Eartlink and now when I receive an email with URL
and I click on the URL the system automaticaaly goes to the Wise Installer
and asks me to install EarthLink Instant Messenger. How do I get this to stop
and allow me to use the email imbedded hyperlinks?

Hi, Kathy,

Do you have a new ISP? What Web browser do you use: Internet Explorer? If
so, is it your default browser? How did you remove Earthlink: did you
uninstall software using the Windows Control Panel?

Susan,
No - I don't have a new ISP. Yes I use Internet Explorer. I removed
Earthlink using the uninstall software in the Control Panel.

It sounds like their uninstaller didn't do a very complete job; I would
check with Earthlink's support web site to find out how to reverse this,
because this isn't functionality provided by Outlook. You might try
re-installing Outlook, but if it's a registry setting or something by
Earthlink, the re-installation might not change it.
