Outlook 2003 2 computers

I am new to outlook and would like to maybe give it a try but a little stumped on this detail. I have 2 computers that I use regularly desktop and laptop. How can I have this running on both machines with the same info with out entering the info twice? Can you sync the 2 some how? The 2 computers are on a network and I am also able to VPN to the desktop while away. Any info greatly appreciated
