A few weeks ago I got the following message when I tried
to access a message in my Archive folder in Outlook
2003...
Unable to display the folder. Microsoft Outlook could not
access the specified folder location. The file
C:\Documents and Settings\Brian\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\archive.pst
could not be accessed.
I did a search on archive.pst and it came up with 2 files
called that, one of which was coloured blue (as in an
internet link). I tried to open this one and the program
seized up and had to be ended. When I tried to open the
other file it opened with computer gobbledeegook both
when I tried to open in Outlook and also in Word. I am
stumped now. I ran a program called scanpst.exe on the
file and it said there was nothing wrong with it. Could
someone please help as I really need to find an email
that I archived.
