The Microsoft site said this is cured by downloading Office XP SP3. This I
did to my desktop, but on double clicking it I now get
'......OfficeXPSP3-kb832671-fullfile-enu.exe is not a valid WIN32
application' so cannot instal it. Any ideas please.

Go to the Office Update site and use the automatic update feature.

Clear your Temporary Internet Files and download it again. Sounds like the
file got corrupt somewhere.

Just curious; why download an Office XP service pack when you are running an
Office 2003 product?
