Outlook 2003 goes offline

i have installed outlook 2003 on two new laptops running Windows Xp sp2
using Exchange 2000 environment in LAN network 3 months back

this week both of the laptops facing same problem, outlook 2003 goes to
offline state, even though they are connected to LAN & have connection,

i have checked the send/recieve setting also ,there is default setting in
it i haven't do any modification to it.

if we press F9 only , it can send/recieve , but the state remains offline..

please help me

In the Exchange account settings (Tools | E-mail Accounts) Make sure
- Manually control connection state = On
- Choose the connection at Startup... = Off
- Connect with the network = On

Then make sure Cached Exchange Mode (Outlook 2003's preferred connection
mode) in the Advanced tab is On.
