Outlook 2003 Missing pst and ost files

Henry

I recently uninstalled from an old computer (using the licensed MS disc) MS
Office Professional Edition 2003. I re-installed the software on a new PC
and registered it. When I open Outlook 2003, I receive the error message:
"The path for the specified file C:\Documents and Settings\Any User\Local
Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook\outlook.pst is not valid."
Outlook will not open. I've searched for both the pst and ost files and they
do not exist. I am using Outlook Express as my mail program, but I need a
calendar function and want to use the one in Outlook. How do I correct this
problem? I don't want to reinstall the software as I will lose all the email
settings and files that I imported from my old PC.

If you still have access to the old computer, copy the PST file from the old
machine to the new one. Put the PST in the location indicated by the error
message.

Neo: If I don't have the old PC any more, is there another way to obtain the
PST file? What about the OST File? Thanks, I really appreciate your
assistance.
