I have multiple email acconts setup in Outlook 2003 and
there are some emails that I have received and are in my
Inbox that when I reply to them, Outlook says it will be
sent using a specific email account that is not the
default. As an example: email addressed to my default
email account, call it Account A, is in my Inbox. When I
hit reply, it wants to use Account B, which is nothing
even close to A. The original email was addressed to my
account A (confirmed in the internet header information).
This stayed the same when I changed the default email
account to a third email account. Does outlook decide
when the reply button is pressed which email account is
to be used or is this information stored upon recieving
the email? i.e. could something have gotten "corrupted"
with some emails?
Why is this happening and how can I correct this? If
there is a way to associate all replies from a specific
email address to use a specific email account, I would
also like to know.
Thanks in advance,
Zane
